I never get to fully exploit any mine before I go broke, so I was wondering about how much money per turn do they make? Must be worth that $300 down payment?

When you first colonize a world, you should buy a Mine immediately. Buy 3 of them for your first three worlds.
That will help kickstart your economy. A mine produces about 15 / turn, but it can go higher on rumors or conflicts.
Minerals represents the richness of all of the solar system’s different planets. Minerals determines the upper limits of what Mining will be effective in producing additional income, resources, and Construction Points.

The descriptions for the upgrades are probably lacking clarity right now. Having a "Long Press" to open up detailed information would be awesome - it could explain what the feature costs, AND what the feature does in return.
Do mines ever run out of resources?
Do factories require mines in order to produce CPs?

Seconded for the long press for more info if there isn't already a plan in place for that!

I'm crap at math, so correct me. ;p I'm guessing there are rumors and conflicts moving this value all over the place? I want rumors in game now!
