I was level 17 and 18 for the store room. One thing I had was the red chest didn't change even after I finished everything in the level. Tami was really sad about that!

I didn't even think it was a bug, honestly- I just thought this clan of super-rats had come to claim Red Hill, or that I was fighting the actual Deathkin clan itself. Both kinda made sense at the time- I was able to beat them, after all- it just took strategy to a whole new level...

It seems like this level is very prone to nasty bugs which can make for a very rude welcome to episode 2. Remember when the bowrats could shoot you through the walls? That was actually less fun than level 25 Deathkin. The very first time I played it, I had just made it through all of E1A2 with no deaths. I opened the fist door, didn't get the initiative and multiple bowrats hammered Vincent through the walls and I watched helplessly as he died. Had that been my first experience ever in episode 2 I might have given up right then.

As if someone else who doesn't normally make maps made it. Hmmmm. I wonder WHY that map is so buggy. Hmmmm. (bro I couldn't resist.) |
