I know this might be somewhat contentious, so others should feel free to chime in, but I would like it if unlocking a door did not open it. I'm moving away from leading with Selen because she's just wracking up too many deaths when she does not win the initiative. However when you unlock a door it immediately opens (which is convenient most of the time) and triggers combat. This has cost me 3 deaths in the RH Storerooms with one of my parties. I would like to have Selen unlock the door and then have Vraes open it to avoid this situation. Otherwise we are basically being force to lead with Selen.

That would be consistent with chests. They don't automatically open when you unlock them.

Sorry, this one is not something we will be able to change. In the chance you can, have Selen stand at a diagonal.

But a lot of doors are recessed and only one person can stand in front of it and no one can stand next to it.
How come it can't be changed. Is it something the code can't support?

Sorry, this one is not something we will be able to change. In the chance you can, have Selen stand at a diagonal. If you win the security roll (once enforced). Could locked chests be altered to auto open like doors? You will attempt to open every chest anyway is the extra tap/left click necessary?

contributor - yep, it is built into the foundation of maps and doors. Something we won't be able to ever fix. John Robinson - we could look into auto-open of chests to match.
