If there is a planet mentioned in RUMORs, is there a way to find it other than clicking on every one on the map?
Thanks again ahead of time!

Here are the ways I can think of right now:
Status > Rumors (or, from the map, "Menu" > Rumors)
In the Quadrant Rumors menu there will be a Plot Course button for each known Rumor. That button will automatically make a Waypoint (which is a blue arrow in v2.6) so that you can locate it.
Status > Cargo Tab > Map (or, "Menu" > Zoom Map) The quadrant zoom map shows the Captain's ship -- a tiny Icon of the Vea Victus -- quadrant ownership and icons for Rumors, Hazards and Contracts. I am working on enhancing the pop-up information shown for a selected sector in the zoom map for an upcoming release. In v2.6 you can see the name of the planet and that it has a rumor, but not which rumor it is -- that requires the Captain's Rumor log.

Speaking of the zoom map, could we have a legend on what the different icons mean? I eventually figured the dot or bullseye is my destination and the word ballons corresponded to rumor locations, but I'm still not solid on the rest.

Legend is a brilliant idea. do you think it would be ok to put "Legend" under the Menu? or should it be on the screen at all times?

Personally I think under the menu is fine. There's not such a large number to warrant having it there all the time.
Could you add the xy coords of the planet as part of the plot course button text? Would help me plan my itinerary of stops.

I agree with it being under the Menu. It could also incude explanations of the planet types and territory colors as reminders for new players. If you wanted to get fancy later on you could have an option of having the First Mate or the Navigator explain the Map View to new players the first time they open it. That could be a way of helping ease new players into the game and increase the "Roleplay" feel of the game.
