Buying Weapons | Heavy Gauntlet

Hi, when I had 1600 Honor and went to buy 3x Heavy Gauntlets for my squad, the game only let me purchase 1. After that the button became unresponsive. I left the shop, equipped one Templar with a Heavy Gauntlet, then when I returned to the shop I was allowed to purchase an additional Heavy Gauntlet. I had to go back and forth 3 times in order to finish getting a Heavy Gauntlet for everyone.

I might be remembering this wrong, but I thought I was allowed to purchase more than 1 Heavy Leviathan in a single trip to the store on an earlier game...
