Can we have a peer to peer list on where the officers are, where to trigger the dialogs that lead to their recruitment?
Before I play the current Crazy difficulty I had no problem finding Galda Fenn early. I remember the initial tavern talk was in 5,5 then you just have to go up to 5,1 to pick her up. In the current Crazy game I cannot find her at all. Where is she? I need her now.

Found couple of them myself now my CRAZY difficulty game has stabilized.
Nathaniel Sveet is in Fort Locht on the island in the middle of the map in East Acadas [2, 1]. You need 200 silver total to the dock master before you can hire him.
Markos Greenmarket (apprentice ship's architect) is at Namara Sea [3, 5] at the Keliteria Fortress.

First conversation for Galda Fenn is in Matalobos (Cadar, Cape of Good Faith). I used the "Captain Christianna" template when I created my current captain in CRAZY difficulty. That template has the same picture as Galda Fenn. I have been searching for her since the beginning but she is never there or at the Stag Leap location. Do I really need her? Not really since I have Nathaniel Sveet which I suspect has the same combat effect..... |

hlo - the officers won't show up for their duplicate captains. If you play Sveet, you can't get Sveet at the lighthouse. If you play Galda's look-alike, she doesn't show up. Please don't feel the need to use bold to report bugs. We read the threads!

But they're also unique enough as characters we do not allow duplicate portraits, as that looks silly. It was a great compromise and one I know a lot of our players appreciate. Not a bug! |

Yeah, I have been messing around for a little bit in this game (which I love it's hybrid mix of CK and STRPG) and have been wondering how to find officers. I have tried following rumors but can't seem to figure it out. Any extra info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Officers are story based, not rumor based. You have to look for special story elements in Taverns and Palaces to start the process of recruiting them.
