Just thinking that I would like a warning at the beginning of each turn when a colony's population has increased to 100% of housing. It would be too annoying if it did it for ever colony that is currently at 100%, but the first turn it goes up to 100% would be nice. Then I would know that I need to go and build more houses before it over populates. I know this information is available in the colony list screen and I like that it's the first information listed, but still it would be nice not to have to pull and scroll that list every turn.
Anyways interested to hear what other players think.

I think it would be better if a empire screen section was created to see the pop of every planet

I'd like to know when the Del Vatos festivities are, so I can build some 3 hab units in advance. But this would be nice too

A new Spice Festival has been added that will help with morale.
I am getting nice warnings that "Cadar Prime is at housing capacity."
And we have done some good economic balancing.
Looking forward to the next update!

Just so everyone knows -- De Valtos does not attract population any faster or slower than any other Faction.

Maybe the people breeding or landing just rolled a lucky result and get there a bit faster! BTW Cory Trese , how much in terms of people, is one poulation point worth?

Also two more things 1) What makes some populations grow significantly faster than others? I had one colony that two turns after establishment, had 5 population!! It only had 1 habitat so I had citizens sleeping 5 to a bed!
2) Can hab modules take less CP to build. Yes keep the price as they are, but let them be built a little faster. I've had population grow by 3 by the time I've built 1 hab module, which means I am constantly losing ground.

Yep. Happens to all of us. Apparently a "Subsidize" option is coming soon.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I really like the warnings now, makes keeping up with the population game a little easier. Good idea, contributor.

But this game I've got a quality 6 planet that just keeps growing. It's up to 9 right now. It's just a total drain on my economy. I wish I could call Rychart in to just obliterated every last colonist and turn it into a radioactive wasteland. That would save me a lot of money. I have definitely observed planets growing by 2. That's always fun. I think your 5 in 1 bed might go a long way to explaining the exploding population. I'm sure they've just given up on trying to determine last names anymore.
