Looks like it might be the start of a good political thriller. A few bits of advice.You're painting a picture with words. We have people, wctions, thoughts. Think about where they are. What it looks like, sounds and smells maybe. It doesn't have to be much, in fact a balance should be made. But these people have colonized or are in the process of colonizing alien worlds! Use them.

Sorry I didn't see the comments thread. Deleted the other post Thought you might be interested in this comment by Cory about the value of credits and their use. 50 credits for a taxi ride means you just got ripped off big time. It's an honest mistake, that post is buried pretty deep, but I came across it researching for the other thread on quadrant history. Which I need to go back and put some time into. It's just hard with RL, Heroes and ST 4X.

Sorry for the lack of Chapter 3 people. I've been busy IRL with finals coming up and classes scrambling to finish up our curriculum so we can review it all. Fun. :/
