This game is starting to get really good.
Some of the techs haven't been fleshed out. Ie. No reward for doing the research but the game play is getting to be really fun.

Agree 100%, I'm pressed for time like a mother these days (work, wedding, and in-laws) but have been sneaking 10-15 minutes of 4X anytime I can. Really happy with how it's turning out!

Yeah, I've actually had my first very real game, where somehow (I have no idea how) I've managed to control the economy and start taking colonies away from the Xenos. I think they may be afraid of me, because after the first wave where I crushed them the first two turns, they haven't attacked since.

THAT IS AN ECONOMY! You nailed it.
The rules are not different on v1.0.11, the Xeno just aren't so stupid / crash.
You've got it bro, lets roll these Xeno =)

v1.0.11. Testflight app threw it out instead of 1.0.9. Never knew what that was And yeah, I've made an effort to never go over the quality of the planet, while trying to keep enough spice flowing and if there isn't enough room, destroy a mine to build a home. Some planets have more upkeep than income though, well almost most of them, so I don't know how I'm getting so much per turn. I'm talking about the lower left fraction on the planet screen, which usually looks like: +100/-300

Hmm, why that instead of just having +400/-300? Just curious. @chococrowbar, I am glad you cannot see my tears of shame in comparison to your economic skills.

I'm so impressed - you sir, are a great leader and this explains why the Syndicates rule and the houses dribble.

ChocoCrowbar what areas did you research first? How did you manage such a quick demolition job against the Xenos? I'm still in awe of your performance

Makes sooooo much more sense, it explains everything. I thought I had 100 income, but loosing 300, and total would be -200
