I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a ship with the explore option. Enlighten please.
When i build a ship and add 7 gun decks, what does that mean? I initially thought it meant the number of whatever gun i picked, but n if that was the case, i would have 7 guns with a base 8 damage which would kill a xeno in one shot.
There are 2 different strike fighter classes. Is there actually a difference?
Will there at some point be a reason to have a ship with a reactor with an odd number of AP other than the strike class?

1. The Explorer training comes off of Trained Crew System.
2. Gun Decks determine your base attack dice for weapons that sun Guns (Gunnery.) It does not multiple your weapons.
3. Not in the current build. In the next one, the second fighter is a boarding class ship.
4. Yes, additional moves will make that move useful. Also, 3 AP can allow for more counter attacks or use of Scan.

My question is, can you update the tech description for certain crew types and auxiliary systems? I have no idea what most of them do.

Investigating and fixing =) Thanks, i really wanted to build a no gun, extremely high dodge rate, very low health scout ship for a minimum of upkeep.
