Presently, if i want to go from one end of a map to another, when I click (I'm on a PC if it makes a difference) on my desired destination, I'll be told "can't find path". So what I need to do is click 50 tiles from current position, when I get there click another 50 tiles closer to destination, and when there click on final destination. This is pretty silly and I can't think of a single game that has such a limitation. I would love to be able to click from anywhere to anywhere, and my guys will figure out how to get there and do it, I presently consider this to be the most unfun thing in the game, ahead of even how annoying it gets to fully rebuff a sustain heavy party after resting.

narana - we agree. It's something we keep working on to improve the pathing engine.

I agree it would be cooler but on PC it's not very important as you can zoom out at max.
In fact on PC I feel that keys to max zoom out and reset to default zoom would be more handy, but yeah OP request is understandable and on a mobile that's certainly a hassle.
Otherwise if the area isn't yet fully explored I quoted it can be a little dangerous as the calculated path consider that doors to open or area unexplored aren't an obstacle, which can mean troubles at the wrong time. I don't mean it should be fixed just that it can be dangerous. :-)

It's annoying- sure, but they said it was something they're working on- these things take time to get right. Personally it doesn't bother me as much as watching the walking character walk into a wall that's between them and their destination, or swerving drunkenly in a feeble attempt to pathfind (also something I know is being worked on). Let them do their thing, lol, 4x is coming out in a week and they're still working on finishing the episode (also remember there are only two of them!) If it was an easy fix it would have been done by now I would think.
