Well, my map-scrolling looks pretty good. I did test starting and then scrolling around while moving, everything was smooth and I didn't feel any lag. Stops were immediate.
But I have to admit that for me the main map experience has been pretty sweet following the big update to how you were doing it. (the first one that added start & stop) So I may just have a good phone for the game.

hey Cory, I've been bumping into space hulks and narv hives more frequently now than ever. I'm on Hard level. Did you bump up the encounter rate on aliens?
I was going for the Exemplar Contractor, and after getting 20+ rep on all clans, javat cutter, lvl 10 captain, 6/6 contract with 1 reject, and already encountered a space hulk who escaped, on my way to my 7th contract...here comes the narv hive... )X they handed me my posthumous recognition. (only 2410 turns and already 2 aliens???)
I also bumped into 1 space hulk when doing the dark nemesis award. I've tried about 8 times.
All captains were started with this version.
I like the Pardon confirm, but the permit I find unnecessary. Pardon can be mistakenly pressed because its right next to the contract button. And I believe the complaint was, on later stage when your rep is in shambles and cost too much, you'll be crazy to buy a pardon and worse if you accidentally do it. (no refund...it says on the door when you walked in)

no i have not made any changes in that part for a loooong time.
i do now that it goes in waves and a hulk often means a "dimensional weakening" and increases aliens and other madness in that area.

ok, so it must've been just a fluke.
the one I have encountered the hive, I had the veteran signed. does this increase chances?
