it would be a planet quality 24 if the advisor could tell me WHY something is wrong.
because frankly, telling me that 134% of maintenance is bad for our economy is face palm worthy.
I want to be able to talk to her.
push my little microphone button and say
"advisor, why is my economy in the crapper?"

nails - we do have planet-by-planet advisor screens on our todo list. You're consulting with the empire wide advisor who's job it is to help you see the big trend.

Sorry Fallen, that was more of a vent. not terribly serious. although a system by system advisor sounds nice. I just got hit by two soar wars at one time and went from 98% to 134%. pretty much toast |

At one point, I had 9 colonies and a solid economy and my advisor was whining that two years out my explansion was too slow. I was like, "Look lady, no one likes a backseat driver!" XD Mind you, I mean no offense to you Cory and Andrew; I get that the advisor is a GPS for players who don't know where they are going. But I'm a bit of a control freak (i.e. detail-obsessed dictator) who prefers advisors who simply say "The people love you" and "There is a rebellion on Tatooine and Imperial Forces are ready for your command". |

We're going to keep working on improving the basic advisor, and the military one to make them useful to both advanced and basic players.
They'll get smarter as you get more technology as well.
