So I've been playing your game and so far it's not bad. It isn't as good as ST (yet) but it certainly is off to a better start compared to some of your other games <cough>age of pirates<cough><cough>. One problem I do have is that there are alot of things I don't know about or don't know how to do. The guide from the Templar assistant is nice, but there's still info missing such as the point of XP, what minerals do, when and how I can make ships that can explore and scout, etc. And while the Templar assistant can reveal some things in-game, it would be nice for a detailed (but small) help sections that goes over operations, options, how and when certain things become available, etc. I'm not saying I won't eventually figure most things out anyways, but a small, detailed help that I can go to would make it easier and less confusing.

@starfixer - did you see the Library off Turn Events? Can't tell if you did or not, from your post ("while the Templar assistant can reveal some things in-game...")

Maybe if the library was more obvious (like a link in the space map for example) that would help getting infos easy.

I think a link from the game menu (where Resume, Main Menu, are) might be a very helpful to make it more obvious.

That would help but another obvious one during in-game session would help. I mean : I'm playing and come across the CP and just wonder what that mean. It would hinder my fun to get back to main menu and then back to game to have the info.

fallen : I understand that but yesterday when I launched a new game and I didn't get the advisor I wondered what was the bonus for the different Houses and looked for the library. It took 4/5 tap to find it (and I new there were one) so new players could get confused when looking for infos... It's obviously just my opinion so don't take it into account if it's only me

Tech. Same with Scans. Torps require Starship Construction 3, with more types available with Capital Ships 1-3 and Superscale/Advanced Weapons tech branches.

Exploration Ship will be added, automatically, when you get the technology required.
Review that ship to see a good basic strategy design for Exploration.
