Dumb question. If I have a game save from 1.1.5 and update to 1.1.7, will the changes take effect on that game or will I need to start a new game to see the changes?

lazarus - we work very, very hard to ensure that all updates are 100% backward compatible. If we ever break that rule, we will be extremely loud, and extremely apologetic about it. So, update and play on!

Thank you for fixing the invasion crashes!  Those were a HUGE pain when trying to quickly bring dow a planet with a large transport fleet. Thank you for the Festival descriptions. I've been wondering what they do. |

Difficulty still displays wrong in the "all factions" and "idle factions" menu. It displays correctly on the invasion screen though.

My god guys. This game is awesome. Shame i just had an hour war with the xenos, buggers tried taking de valtos on the small free map.
Im going to upgrade to elite asap.
Bit hard if your just starting but doesnt take long to get the gist of.
Loving your work guys, n congratz on a job well done. Ive been waiting for this one since it was just a rumor in the spice halls.

I notice that my version on IOS is 1.1.3.
Generally - how far behind Android will ongoing updates for IOS be?
And will the updates for IOS be tracked in a separate thread or on the same ones for Amazon etc ?

shrike - Apple's review queue generally takes 7-10 days to process an update, and longer for a new game. We work hard to push new releases into Apple as fast as they will accept them. The releases will always match a Android release, but you'll notice that they will often skip Android releases. 4X will go directly to 1.1.7 or 1.1.9, depending on how quickly they move Elite through their queue (still pending). We'd go much faster, but we are locked into their pace.
