I'm not sure to understand. Do you mean that If I receive a notification saying that my new treaty is a success, he don't mean obligatory that my new treaty is a success? The game's simulation thread is merging Political events from every Colony and from each Faction into a single merged stream of events. Your treaty may have been a success but that doesn't stop the machine of Faction politics from charging ahead and forcing changes to the Empire's state. Understood! But you really have to make this clear, it really look like a bug for the moment... Thanks for the explanation!

I'm sure a number of the rules look like bugs from time to time for some players.
I'm working on improving all aspects of the game.

I've yet to have a single treaty end a conflict even when I get a success message. I've had "successful" treaties for solar wars, trade bans, and trade embargoes that did nothing to change the listed conflicts on that or the subsequent turn. And this is on easy. Especially the latter treaties are very pricey to have no chance of success.

I've tested them all on about a dozen different Androids and iPads, but that doesn't mean there aren't some problems I'm not seeing on the test devices I could afford.

Note 3, android 4.4
One thing I did notice is when I checked my conflicts after a successful sactions 3 (the one with 50% chance of ending solar war in case I got the name wrong) both my solar wars were still there but I had a new trade route. I'm assuming it's possible for those to start on their own too so it could've been coincidence as I hadn't looked at my politics screen the previous turn to know if it was new.

And I can only assume if the conflict ending treaties aren't working that other treaties must be malfunctioning also. Samsung Galaxy S3, most recent version on android

Have to admit that i experience this as somewhat troublesome too. In my current game have two concurrent solar wars, and several succesful duel of assasins did nothing - so i gave up and ran a trade summit, which succeded, and at the same time one solar war was replaced with a trade route.. Coincidence?
