I would like to request these additions:

Upgrading ships
- subcategories on focusing on attack, scout, defense and colony ships
- advantages / effects of different weapon types (Gatling, lance, torpedo)

Independent planets
- how they arise in the game mechanics
- effects (financial, morale, conflict)

Colony defense
- Upgrades
- Description of bonus effect (e.g. +0.01% chance per defense point you won't lose a quality point during alien attack).

Link to the specific required technology within descriptions of upgrades for colonies and ships (searching the tech tree for one specific upgrade takes a while)

I'll work on those, but it will probably take a few months of work before I can do that last one, links between specific parts of the Tech Tree and the Library.
