I know this thread is years old....but I had a similar experience in playing the tutorial game. Built stuff, made fleets, expanded, then found the Xenos. Ok, I thought I'd take his world and kick butts. Lol! So many Xenos OMG! But then I learned my ships can take much more damage. They kicked butt, but then couldn't take the Xeno world, and took lots of damage. So back to drawing board to either find a weaker world to invade or get stronger transports. But yeah, all those ships are a shocker in your first game. Lol.

But yeah, all those ships are a shocker in your first game. Lol. That's one of the things about the Xeno in general. They are relatively weak individually, depending on the type. However, the swarms are very dangerous. |
