How do I upgrade a planet's quality so I can build more mines. Currently I am having to destroy mines and factories as the planets's population grows requiring more habs. This eventually makes the planet non-self-sustaining financially. Can I change this ever-digressing trend or do I need to build differently on my planted to prevent it from happening? I would paste a pic in this thread but I don't know how.
Population 9 / Housing 9 Upgrades 11 / Quality 11 Factories Active 5 / Built 5 / Max 9 Mining 10 / Mineral 18 $ +195 / -192 CP +5 (0) Defense 0 / 20 Spice 5 / 9
Need some advice.

The goal should be to research upgrades so you can Improve your Hab 1 to Hab 2 and 3, so it only takes three upgrades to house 9 population.
Orbital Mines will let you extract Minerals and generate Trade Points without any Quality cost.

@koga - and, not only Hab 1, 2, 3 but Mines 1, 2, 3 & Factory 1, 2, 3 etc. You should be able to cram a lot onto that planet

What is the highest possible Quality for a System in the game? 25+, but it's REALLY rare to get such a high quality planet.

The engine supports up to around 50, but we haven't put those into any maps yet.
Around 25 is as high as we've had time to test and fully balance, but the "highest possible" ... well, we could go pretty high in later Elite maps.

Maybe for special planets, story planets.......ala planet orion from moo2........i reckon that would add a nice layer of depth........but lord knows, this one's got depth coming out the wazoo already......this would be a nice addition i think Not enough 4x games on android, so from the bottom of my heart, thanks for creating one, and thanks for your excellent continued involvement, makes me giddy

In future updates there are upgrades (Terraforming Reactors) that consume negative Quality (-3, for example, would make 3 Hab Units (of any level) cost 0 Quality.)

Maybe a quality cost-CP cost or quality cost-credit cost trade off for when you're in desperate situations?
