Carry overproduction from a finished item

Both for research and for production queues, it would be nice to be able to save the overproduction when finishing an item to the next.

I have no idea if this impacts balance, but I just hate wasted resources and micromanaging queues for a slight gain in efficiency is not fun game play for me.
I acknowledge this could be a conscious design decision to have no carry over. In that case, I'll just have to live with it...
