The second column of the following table shows the ratio of (Hit Points gained per level) / (HP gained per point of Constitution) for each hero. Column three shows shows similar ratios for Spirit Points using Intelligence. Hero | HP per Level / HP per Con
| SP per Level / SP per Int
| Vraes
| 16/26
| 4/22
| Kyera | 11/21 | 8/26 | Tamilin | 13/18 | 7/21
| Kjartan
| 8/16
| 11/26
|
This can inform allocation of Attribute and other points. It does NOT reflect the increased Toughness resulting from higher Con. Vraes low SP gain per level suggests that must be dealt with by increasing Intelligence, maximizing efficiency, or using Kyera's Sacrifice Talent. The later is not a good choice for my current build because Kyera is already the first one to burn through SP, followed closely by Vraes.

tenbsmith - the same goes for Tamilin & Kyera for HP if you plan to make them active combatants and not "hanging back"

Good point about HP. My current build has Kyera as off-tank and I've already bumped her Con by 2, but I should probably do that again before too long, especially since it also bumps toughness.
If someone posts other characters' stats, I'll add them to the table.

I thought it might be useful to edit the tables today. 1. The automatic increases in HP and SP each character gets per level was displayed as the last row in the Startup Table. I have moved that row to the top of the Table. Then using the information from the Character Talent tables I added 2 more rows for the HP point increase per +1 Con and SP per +1 Int. I'm not 100% sure but I think every character gets a +1 Toughness per +1 Constitution. This is what the first 4 rows of the Start Up Table looks like now. Level 1 | Outlander | Wizard | Sorcerer | Cleric | Paladin | Thief | Rogue | HP/SP +1 Lvl | 16/4 | 8/11 | 11/8 | 11/8 | 14/16 | 13/7 | 14/7 | +1 Con = +HP | + 26 | + 16 | + 22 | + 21 | + 23 | + 18 | + 21 | +1 Int = +SP | + 22 | + 26 | + 22 | + 26 | + 22 | + 21 | + 19 |
2. Each of the seven character's Talent tables contained the same information in text form, for example Vraes talent table looked like this; "Startup Attributes: Intelligence 3. SP 70. Gains +4 SP/level. Gets +22 SP per point added to Intelligence. Constitution 6. HP 172. Gains +16 HP/level. Gets +26 HP per point added to Constitution." That was easily missed and looked kind of crappy. So today I have edited each character's talent table for clarity and replaced the text description with a table near the top. For example this is what the description in Vraes's Talent Table looks like now; Row 1 displays the automatic increases to total Hit points and Spell points when Vraes reaches the next higher level. Row 2 displays the increase in HP Vraes gets when increasing Constitution attribute +1. Row 3 displays the increase in SP Vraes gets when increasing Intelligence attribute +1 Row 4 displays the number of HP Vraes starts the game with Row 5 displays the number of SP Vraes starts the game with Vraes | Outlander | HP/SP +1 Lvl | 16/4 | +1 Con = +HP | + 26 | +1 Int = +SP | + 22 | Starting Hit Points | 172 | Starting Spirit Points | 70 |

Thanks JR, stats for all heroes, well done.
Based on the Start Up Table, the Paladin is head and shoulders above Kyera and all other heroes in combined HP/SP gain per level. That's a major advantage.
Increases in Toughness appear to be related to both Constitution and Class (fighter, magic user etc). Vraes starts with Con 6/Toughness 7 while my Level 11 Vraes has Con 8/Toughness 10. Vraes appears to gain 1.5 Toughness per Con. Kjartan starts with Con 4/Toughness 2, and my level 11 Kjartan has Con 5/Toughness 2. Kjartan appears to gain <1 Toughness per Con.

tenbsmithReally appreciate the information on Toughness. I figured it was just my imagination. Another big area of confusion for me is the relationship between Dexterity and Dodge. It seems like Vraes takes longer to to get more dodge when adding Dex. Selen with a Dex of 16 appears to top out around 12 or 13 dodge. I'm wondering if that is just part of the Character type design. For example I think Vraes can easily raise his parry as a melee fighter, but not so with dodge. Have you seen this too, or am I guessing wrong?

Each character has a numerical multiplier for each stat. For example, for Vraes, Toughess = Constitution x 1.25 where Kjartan's Toughness = Constitution x 0.5

fallenCould you give the multiplier for Selen's Dexterity to Dodge? Imagine a dog who hasn't eaten in three days, this information would be a bacon biscuit. (bouncing on paws, oh please oh please)

John Robinson - Selen has 0.75 x Willpower = Reistance 0.75 x Dexterity = Dodge 1 x Constitution = Toughness

fallenMany thanks most generous esteemed one. Balgair lights scented candles at the altars of the Faithful in your honor. Any secret of Selen's is more precious than gold. On the morrow a virtual feast will be held in your honor, dancing girls, gold coin tossed to the throngs of poor and needy. "No thank me not good citizens, tis the generosity of the magnificent Fallen that places bread in your belly's and sweet wine in your heads!"

That helps explain a lot without my need to empirically test each character!
Any chance of providing that info for all characters?
I'm particularly interested in willpower. I suspect resists will be more and more important. Also, for episodes 3 and 4, I am curious as to how to increase attributes strategically after maxing the primary accuracy attribute.
The attribute descriptors suggest the multipliers, but having them confirmed is pretty nifty.

Just a quick inquiry to see if this information can be made available? No real rush but it does round out character stat details nicely.

I am really glad to get these goodies. I have added 3 new rows in the Startup Table for the Toughness, Resistance and Dodge factors.
