I was wondering if you guys could add the history of the Star Traders as it is known in-universe to the Library. The Senate records are bound to have at least some of the fragments of Star Trader history available, especially if the ships you start with are Colony Hives. This would mostly benefit newer players, so they don't have to dig through the forums looking for the in universe history.

I think, and fully support that it would have to include mainly the history of the guild wars, the zendu (humanist and machinist), the Narvidians and Guild wars but NOT the nearer history of the Farfallen rim where STRPG takes place since from what I remember reading, you as a player aren't establishing yourself the Quadrant of that game but a completely different sector of space as the leader of a group of ships that got lost from the exodus or couldnt continue, and that ST2 would take these isolated sectors into account somehoe.

In ST2, technological breakthroughs have re-united the Quadrants you are creating in 4X and the Farfallen Rim Quadrant of ST RPG.

We certainly will get to the History, but at the moment we are still fighting to get the critical game play topics included. |
