I haven't actually tried this yet, but it seems like a good idea. Apparently the range of the Hacker's Jam ability is determined by the range of his weapon. If that's correct it would make sense for a hacker's secondary weapon to be something with very long range. Even if he never shoots it and couldn't hit an elephant walking straight down Fairmont he would still be able to Jam drones from miles away. Anyone tried this yet? Of course if getting Jam to work is dependent on being able to hit with a certain weapon maybe this wouldn't be the most effective, but there are still a few long rang-high accuracy rifles out there.

contributor - the attack is (strangely) attached to the normal attack for the Hacker. So if you're using Gloves, you can only jam up close. If you are using a short range gun, then you're kind of screwing yourself. If you are a using a longer ranged gun, the Range is capped at 4. I am working on decoupling these two, but it isn't easy in a 4 year old game system The Jam roll is not related to the weapon or your Firearms skill at all.

As the hacker is not a "fighting" type anyway, let your team kill the enemy while you either snipe or run.gunslinger & cybersword if you want to murder.hacker is a specialist job.

And it depends on the manufacturer... Stock android with a good looking phone (Nexus, Moto's)? I'd buy it right away.
A company that still sells phones with Android 2.3 and that're full of bloatware nobody needs and they're non-rootable (HTC...)? Throw em in the bin, right away!!!

Google needs to do a better job with updates.say what you will about the rooting community, but it all began out of need not desire.after all,no one roots "just because".they do it to stay current.
