I recieved a turn based event that indicates captains are reporting 'reduced xeno activity'. Just for info, what does this specify? Is it merely the game verifying that I have the advantage? Or is it more specific, as in the xeno planets remaining are below average quality, so enemy ships will be fewer? Or the ai is intentionally toning down in response to attacks?

It's a notice that the xeno are pulling back and you might have an opening to (1) attack them or (2) turtle up and focus on your economy. Much like in Star Traders RPG, the Star Traders are everywhere, exploring, running the alien fringe, and bringing back valuable information. Use the advice as you will, but they're letting you know that the enemy has retreated a bit. It means different things for different alien AI types, but its a good opening.
