Maybe the escort should decrease your stealth for encounters? Hard to stay hidden while babysitting.

Maybe the escort should decrease your stealth for encounters? Hard to stay hidden while babysitting. Having a larger team affects your stealth. In the current setup, your escorted mark may actually step in and lead an Encounter for you. Marks are generally hackers, scientists, or negotiators - so they do at times have better skills than a new Knight / team. I think this is pretty interesting, but at times pushes the idea that the mark is going to keep his / her distance from the team. It may need to be set so that the Mark cannot help in Encounters. To your idea, @yechao (welcome to the forum!) there will be new Encounters being added, much like those that trigger if you are Smuggling, that will trigger special if you are escorting a mark.

great update - i was waiting for this for a long time there is also bug when you update game when your ck have already taken escort job - you cant finish it, but after expiring/canceling it, new jobs works fine btw random encounters on fenian turf are marked as blue ox, and vice versa funny to see fenian enforcers harrasing fenian citizens

lazarus When your CK is alone, he can always move to dodge hounds and thugs that comes into melee and keep his distances. With a mark in your team, you have to protect him and he won't move like a trained fighter around the battlefield to escape enemies ; so, a short-range and devastating weapon becomes more useful for this kind of job than for a CK in general (who would certainly prefer a long-range weapon to stay out of trouble). =) Hope it helps.

How did they become more useful now? Originally you didnt have anything to worry about on escort missions. It was practically a package delivery. Now that we have a mark, and most enemies will more likely than not go after her, mr shotty is going to be your friend. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

I usually end up using narrow passages on my advantage the best I can, so I'll probably just have to make sure NOTHING gets through. Should be interesting on a newb team.

Blue Ox raiding parties come down the harbor on speed boats, land and then go smashing and harassing through Fennian land. You just ran into one before the Fennians got there. Your choice - what do you do?
