I may have, er, created a badly designed ship, as noted in another forum.
I edited the ship and saved it with the same name (assuming it would overwrite), and built a new fleet of ships. With the same flaw. Oi, stop laughing!
The old ship remains in the list and the new one is at the bottom of the list with the same name.
Please can it overwrite or append a 2 and show a popup saying this is what it has done.

Thanks for pointing this out, I have created #4X-2526 to prevent the game from allowing you to make two designs with the same name.

Just pictured a herd of recently promoted captains charging towards the enemy in some shiny new ships only to realise someone forgot to actually fit the gun decks! |

Pretty much... But in my specific case I made invasion ships commanded by torp captains with no invasion training... and no torps.. Ahem. Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards |
