Hi. Just found out the hard way, that AoP gives no warning about cargo loss, or confirm button, for trading in your current ship for a new one. I had a LARGE supply of gold and was making my way down the BIG map, from top left, to bottom right. I was making for a port, that had a scarcity in gold. Bought a new ship, and lost ALL the cargo except 7 units of rations. I don't know if a warning is printed in the manual, but it sure isn't, in the game. I'm afraid that, because I'm in Pirate role-playing mode - Cory Trese and fallen, will have to walk the plank, for this. Get ye hands off of me gold, ye scurvy bilge rats. Ayyyy. Arrr. On a more serious note... Any chance of an obvious link, to the game manuals, in each section of the site please? One at the top of each game area, cos I can never remember, where they are. It may be helpful, to place a "manual" button, on the first page of each game, to make it obvious. I get the impression from reviews and comments, that people aren't finding "first contact", with the games, very user friendly. Be a REAL shame, for people to miss the wonderful depths of the games, just because they find the surface too hard to penetrate.

Ok. I've just realised, you use the word 'rules', instead of 'manual'. Prefer 'Game Manual". It's more noticeable. Especially since the instructions need to be most peoples first port of call. "Port of call"? I'm starting to realise how many nauticle terms I use, without even realising. 0.o. it's those TB's fault!

I created #AOP-2534 to add a confirmation to this switch.

I also would support changing the name of "Rules" to either "Manual" or "Guide"

The message now says "Sell the XXX? Cargo on the sold ship is lost. This cannot be undone."
This is now more of a warning than Star Traders RPG gives people ...

You just made me think, (headache pending). Can you recycle the routine, that you use in ST RPG, that allows you to move cargo from one vessel to the other, when you decide to take a defeated ship, for yourself, after battle?
