How about a way to essentially "Save the Game" state off the phone flash memory for later retrieval (Android Devices, Galaxy S3, etc.)...
Say, hypothetically, if you get 99% of the way in the game towards some fabulous stuff and it took many (pirate) years to get there... then all of a sudden the phone dies from some unexplained what-have-you... And then you get a warranty replacement phone, shove your SD Card, Sim Card, and Battery into the new one... Then have to re-download the app... then discover it has decided you have neither captain nor recognized progress on the game...
(Hypothetically speaking of course...)
Has this already been brought up? I would hate to see someone put a lot of time into something, and then have to start over through no fault of their own. (If someone like this were to exist...) Many games/apps sync through Facebook or through an online cloud or something.
