Pandora... last 3 artists. Madeleine Peyroux, Connie Evingston, and Ella Fitzgerald. But I'm betting no one on here has heard of any of the above (except Ella). Not exactly mainstream anymore. I met Ella's husband one time, at the market. He didn't say much. Seriously? No one is going to make a joke about a frying pan?

Not sure if anyone noticed yet, but f**king Breaking Benjamin is releasing a new album (their first in SIX years) in June, and their new single Failure is probably the best thing I've heard in years. Give it a listen Won't let me link the YouTube, I'll try tomorrow. Seriously though, if you like BB, stop reading this and go listen.

I wish Disturbed would come out of hiatus and release a sixth album. You may like them if you like BB (Try the Ten Thousand Fists album)

I love me some Disturbed. Yeah, they're awesome. Great tracks to learn to play for tightening your rhythm skills as well, due to the way the instruments are syncopated with one another, and the staccato style of playing.

I currently have a minor obsession with The Jam on account of the fact that they're bloody awesome.

Breaking Benjamin. Dark Before Dawn.
One of the best and most powerful albums I have ever listened to. Hands down. I honestly can't describe the album and do it justice, it's just that damn good.

My god, how long has it been since I've listened to music? I mean, I catch a song here and there on the radio while driving, but I don't think I've sat down to listen to anything for over a year!

I make it a point to listen to as much music as humanely possible... It's been the only true constant in my life (other than video games- and I play enough of those...) and it has always been there when I needed it the most.
I genuinely don't think I could live without music.

Yeah, I've never gone more than a day or two without listening to music. It's incomparably powerful, it's all-pervading, it's whatever you want it to be. Life without music, for me, would be no life at all.

I was raised to like all types of music and my father and mother will still shake their heads over some of the stuff I listen too. Lately most of the songs I've been playing from my collection are anime ones. Pretty much anything I've mentioned in the anime thread as a show I watch, I've got music from it. Can't really list list any favorites since there's so much out there I like. If I really had to choose I think I'd go with Cyndi Lauper. I'm one of the original MTV generation, her videos were some of the best.
