I would like to see some other Resources besides w/a/e, having different uses besides buy and sell. Wouldn't mind seeing another variety of Torpedo too. More expensive, more damage, more accurate, that kind of thing. Wishes indeed...

I did catch your drift, but since this is a Christmas list...I'd like to see the navigators auto plot sort of drawn out on the map. For the planning ahead and such. Then again that might have a limited use, I have the sand to do business on just about any planet. I could use a new officer. Doppelganger. I figure his main purpose would be to pose as the captain when needed. Primarily jump in front of the gun, so I can live to fight another day. Something of a bodyguard/fall guy. Space is surprisingly dirty.

The wound deflection on Bounty Hunter is pretty awesome.
I haven't heard anyone complain about the current navigator's pilot route drawing before.

Been sitting on this general idea for too long so I'm just gonna spit it out. I wish to see a 10% Hold bonus for Plants that increases Transportation contact pay by 1% per unit and provides morale loss protection. A peaceful hydroponic garden to please passengers and provide relaxation and wellbeing for spacelocked crew. Maybe some other bonuses for the more neglected cargoes that don't require officers to spice up our choices.

Neglected Cargo? So much overlooked effort ... Plants are one of the core trade goods, participating in economic balancing for more than half of the economic types in the simulator.
A Garden would be a very interesting Upgrade, but to keep with the game's universe, Plants in Cargo are in stasis cubes, not growing and flourishing.
I can see a garden upgrade working a bit like a morale improving W-F Recycling plant that generated Cargo instead of W-F offset. I can see how it would increase the payment for passenger contracts too.

Sorry. Didn't mean to belittle all your brilliant work. I have never really played a merchant class at all in the years I've played ST so my accusation of the humble plant is from ignorance. You mentioned upcoming Doctor. Awesome Ps: Your last paragraph, hell yeah! Exactly my thinking

Merchant and Smuggler are definitely my favorite class.
Last year I played a lot of Bounty Hunter and Pirate.
Just made about 400K Credits on a single Spice run =)

I'm not complaining friend. This is a wish list. I'm using ZTE Valet. 4.1 Android. I should be seeing a line on the map? I need to look into Bounty Work. Maybe that'll be my next go since Captain Crawdada of the Frosty Bossy got killed by aliens yesterday.
