Curious what the interest level in a PC version of ST 4X is...

Depends on the price point - but I can see that it would certainly lend itself well to a PC game release

I would love a pc version. I think a big screen is perfect to play 4X.

I'm fine just having it on my phone and likely wouldn't bother with a PC version, although I can see the appeal (mostly just map and tech tree browsing, and battery life!).

Sadly I don't really have much time at home from work to play PC so I will vote maybe. Perhaps when the CK Dronemaster is released I will buy it as a show of support

Not for me. I think the game is perfectly suited to the mobile platform, with the layout, pinch zoom from planet to quadrant in a microsecond, and the size of the scrolling menus (list of buildings, etc). There are a host of large, complex PC 4x games out there that thrive on the platform, and I think EiE would be rather lost among them; it was specifically developed to be a great mobile 4x game, it has achieved that, but I don't think PC is the best place to flex it's muscles.
