I have a problem. Let's call it Trese Syndrome. These Trese games are all deep. Much attention is required by them. Each of them have a learning curve where you must figure out many buttons and interwoven features. I am a big fan. How does one settle on one game? I switch around a lot and it's keeping me from true mastery. How do you focus on just one game? Trese Syndrome...

Lol I know the feeling- I started out obsessed about AoP, mastered that on normal and challenging, then HoS came out and I was pretty much hooked on it. I play Heroes pretty much exclusively now, but I play CK now and then and I'm really excited about the Hunder and Drone(r) classes so I'll play them... I also play AoP when I need to get mah swashbuckling on, and to reference locations and names for my fictions. My biggest issue with Trese Syndrome is the fact that I cannot get a group that I like enough through the current content. I only have 2 groups that have made it through to E2, only to find that I hate how I did the group so I start again. Now Kincaid came out and I find myself back in the Deeps. Again. Dammit...
I love it though, and I honestly don't play any other games but TB games now- there isn't any need to =)

I was lucky enough to start when there was only ST. 8 months of solitary bliss. Then CK came out and I took a little nibble. Then TA came out and I bit deep, my Neptune specialists mincing Xeno scum everywhere. Then AoP came out and I peered at it from a distance. Then HoS was launched and I'm THERE ... hacking and slashing enthusiastically. Then ST4X came out and I'm "I'll get to it soon" ...
So I've JUST (and honestly only now) discovered that I play every SECOND TB game release! I will come and do the even numbered releases soon - but every time I am ready for a change, A NEW GAME is released by Cory and Andrew and instead of going back to the last new release, I jump on that new one. And for the record, I'm hoping/expecting the next update to be ST2!

Hehe. I find it hard to actually get others into the games. I suppose it's cause all the thinking required to play. A shame really, everyone blown away by 3d garbage. "Engage their senses, and dumb 'em down, now let's fleece 'em." Industry creed? HoS is the only Trese game I haven't played yet. Sounds like it's good. Better just work on these others though. Must...avoid...play store... hehe

HoS is SOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo good it makes you shiver! It's one of those games that you think "I've seen this before", but once you get into it, there are very clever nuances that keep this game apart from the crowd. It's awesome with a capital O

Well, as our Cat decided to share how he go into the games, so shall I. I first found ST about 2 years ago. O downloaded the free version, played for about an hour, then decided to buy the full version. Then I actually decided, while it was a cool game, I didn't like it, as I thought it was a bit too random and frustrating. So I left it alone for several months. Then I was bored and decided to try it again. And I got hooked. I have no idea what changed about my perspective on it, but I got hooked. Then I saw that Trese Bros Software had made other games. So I tried them. Fast forward a year or so, and I almost only play TB games, and got to support an Alpha! It's been a fun ride so far, and I can't wait to see what else flies down the pipeline.

I ran into ST while being picky. I knew it was something special, but shelved it a bit. Dug in with more patience, and ended up in Orbit around here. I should say that I picked up the others and played a similar cycle with them. Tb is Dc. Think I picked that up around here.
