screenshot windows The bottom (tech tree) says it replaces conflicts. The top one (diplomacy screen) doesn't.
And in practice, it doesn't. I had two spy battles and an alliance and I tried using Sanctions (which says it ends Conflicts) and got a notification that the sanctions were successful, but both soy battles continued on.

Trade Treaty replaces "Trade Route" with "Trade Alliance" if successful. Trade Sanctions will end the "Trade Embargo" conflict, as listed in the description. So far, this looks like you're seeing the right thing and sounds like everything is working. The treaty "Diplomatic Summit" lists this description: Negotiates the end of a 'Spy Battle' and "Ends Conflicts" specifically of the type Spy Battle. I hope that clears it up -- if you have any other questions, please post more details and I'll answer them.

"Ends Conflicts" sounds like a particular treaty ends multiple conflicts when it simply ends the one all ready specified in the treaty description. Its misleading at worst and redundant at best.

Oh! I just realized that the "Politics" button with the handshake icon, the window it opens is called "faction conflicts"
I knew the window was there of course, I just didn't know it was called "conflicts". So everything in that window is a conflict. Trade routes are conflicts and alliances are conflicts, so the "trade treaty" does replace one conflict (a trade route) with another conflict (trade alliance)
I guess the confusion was the usage of the word conflict to describe positive relations

It matches the usage in ST RPG, which has generated low confusion rate. If I can think of a better word, I'll replace it throughout -- but I suspect that I, and most long time ST RPG players, would be confused by the new word instead of Conflicts.

Ok I think these are real bugs this time.
Now when you purge a xeno world, you can see the exact values of its minerals and quality. But when the xeno purge YOUR world, it shows the range of values not the value that has already been determined.
And I can't quit the game. And not because I'm obsessed with it (which I am). But on the main menu when I press the quit button, it just reloads the main menu. Samsung 4s on Google play.

What version of the game are you using, and if mobile, what device? The Quit button asks the OS to terminate the application, so the code is different between Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. Although, I just tested it on 5 iPads, 3 Androids, PC and Mac and it works

My android system just had an update and now I can quit the game again, so I guess it was their fault not yours.
But about those system stats...?
