Ok, this one is a little off the wall, but it's something I've decided I would really like. Since so many of the cures use a cross pattern, but enemies rarely line up correctly for you to hit a bunch of them at a time I would like to be able to move one of my heroes into position and cast the curse on him or her. I would most likely then use an invocation of cleansing to remove the curse from my player before carrying on with the carnage.
I think this would add tactical depth and doesn't come without costs (i.e. you player is now cursed and you have to remove it or play with it) so it would require careful use and thinking through.

More generally, being able to cast on a bare area could have the same effect. This should be the same for ask area effect casting

I would love to see the ability to cast on the bare ground- make the AI rethink its checkerboard tactics. Huge second to slayernz's idea

Thanks for the suggestions, but we won't be adding either to Heroes of Steel. Curses cannot be cast on friendly targets, and the magic requires an enemy target as its focal point.

Gah, no. I still waste curse AP & mana because I forget that I have to physically turn the stupid $%&$()$*&$ Talent off before I can go check who else needs a dose of it. It just have to be different from buffs & heals.

LOL, just got an e-mail today thanking us for putting some much thought into how Talents activate and deactivate, specifically buffs and healing being different. So many games just lump everything into one bucket instead of tuning to use, or so the logic from that happy user went. We're always working on making improvements to all of our games, as much as we can afford. Feedback pours in from e-mail and trickles in from the forum -- both mean a lot. Thanks for the feedback. We'll keep your cursing at Talents in mind as we work towards more improvements.

I see why you did it the way you did, but then when I need mass trap disarming...

Yes, a strong second for making the trap disarming spell sticky.

That one has gone back and forth -- we've gotten really strong feedback on both sides and settled on this one because it seems to generate the least amount of 1* and hate mail.
I've put it on the list to revisist and reconsider if there is something we can manage to fit into the game that improves this process, we'll be sure to do it.

User customizable GUI? Oh, wait, I said that before. Yes, and I know the answer, not going to happen unless I personally fund it. Got it.

Lol, if you want to read it that way, sure.

Heh, if I could afford enough funding you could outsource...I'll let you know when the big lotto hits for me...if I remember to buy a ticket for it.
