I've reconsidered and am just going to help the Baron walk faster instead. Yes please let him run into range of my Ethereal Anguish/Pinning Shot so I dont have to send Kyera or Selen after him and break up my formation.  Call me stubborn but normally I keep all 4 grouped together and advance on throne as fast as possible. Would say this works most times unless the soldiers form a line keeping me out of cursing range of the Baron. |

Awesome, I will just put this shovel away before I dig myself into any more holes. Lol, sorry to have pounced on it. Once I looked at it more closely, I was quite happy with the setup. A small tweak to his speed will help make it a little more fun if a group does retreat to the doors. Good luck out there! |

I've read about some of the improvements and balances that have been made during my absence, but instead of starting a completely new group concept, I stick to what I know for my first foray back. Kincaid and Selen are my 'tanks' and secondary damage dealers. All dex, all blades so far. Kincaid focused on CF, with a point in CS (eventually to where it grants me an AP curse?! I don't remember it having that ). Selen with a few points in PB to strip armor, 1 in DoS, and focused on QSD. Vincent 1 point in FF and straight LS (straight knowledge and sorcery). Kyera full support, at the moment, 1 EA, 1 sacrifice, 1 purifying breeze, then the rest in warders (straight int and lore). No items purchased yet, but that was just masochism really and to see if I still had the focus and determination to make another run after losing my Einherjar to the void. |

Episode 1 complete 165.7m. That's a personal best by far and I definitely earned it by not purchasing a single item. I thought I was doomed to fight the Baron and his crew with e1a1 1ap blades, but I finally found 2 Sai blades. Some difficult decisions regarding efficiency vs. role flexibility here, but I'm going to stick with efficiency even if it eliminates most of my margin for error. Just like riding a bike... on a tight rope... over an active volcano. |

Good luck! Yup, no items bought. I saw an incredible abundance of bows throughout episode 1, haha (as if you were saying, "Are you absolutely sure you don't want a six range attack? Really? Reeeeeaaaaaly?") I may break that no buying streak early though after experiencing the storerooms. I'll keep you posted on my progress. |

And first group back goes down in the Darkwood... 228.8m. Lost a stealth roll, Vincent took two huge shots from a ratkin shaman and that's all she wrote. Not a bad first foray back to the NMI fold. Short break and back into the Underdark. |

Episode 1 complete 162.1m Went with my original group, KKFS. Definitely less efficient without Sacrifice, but I felt comfortable enough to double pull regularly... or in one memorable case quadruple pull! On to Episode 2. |

Anyway, its about the long game Yeah Sacrifice cut my camps down significantly, but every single encounter was nerve-wracking. I've taken that Sacrifice focused group to around 350m, but it has zero margin for error. This current group is basically the same one I took to near end of E3 with few issues 18 months ago. Here's that quad pull *That was right before I pulled the room to the right, which had a war boy some archers and a heavy I think. |
