Awesome! Were you planning on SS or just keeping with DI? I just started that group on my sh!tty RCA tablet just for poops and hahas... Seems like an interesting style to try out... I'm so reliant on ap curses and it would be great if there was a different way to build out a group, around -acc to negate as much as ap curses as far as damage goes... Best of luck!

En1gma - I think the right combo of +Defense and -Offense curses could do it. Who cares if they have AP if they can't connect? I am still on the fence about Silent Stalker for this build. Tamilin always gets the surprise round, and gets in 3 shots at targets in 75% of the battles, so I do think it is worth it. She's already dropping 100 dmg crits ... so, who cares if they have AP if the 3 nearest targets are dead every time I will keep you posted.

Damnit. I made it to 30mil+...then forgot to rebuff phalanx sheild and with it down for one turn...augh. I cant believe myself right now I was only &mil from beating my old score...Now I have to sit down...breathe...AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHH...breathe some more and go back to the drawing board. I also had deviated a few points form my original plan...I probably shouldn't have second guessed those points either. Sigh.

Ohhhh no ... gah! The horror. It's always a drop in discipline that gets us ironmen kiled. I feel your pain, I am at 33 mil and biting my nails constantly that I am going to die. About to try the huge fight before the Shaman.

Fallen get's quote of the week/thread for "as my score climbs ... to my inevitable death." This is an adaptive attitude to take into the ironman leaderboards, escpecially nightmare. Personally, I like Tami's DI over SS. SS is most useful in the first round of combat if you win surprise. DI is always useful. My Traveller's group just made the same spot featured in Fallen's blog and the combo of Phalanx Shield and Warder's Shield makes Vraes hard to hit. Be careful fallen, that is a dangerous one. Are you going to consider leading with Vraes through that segment?

CdrPlatypus - hmmmm, as a tough ranged killer with an eye for criticals. +2 Constitution to every +1 Dex (currently both) +Bows to 7 (now relying on DI for Acc), +Stealth to 4, and now raising Lore exclusively (now at 6) for Deadly Intuition duration. Learned talents in this order - Aimed Shot 2, Blacknight 1, Deadly Intuition 5 (I saved a point the level before I could get it to get a start on it) Stealth is currently 10 with buffs & gear. I have yet to fail a Stealth check in the game, which makes me happy. 2 AP bow

X Desperado with 1,309,140 on Google play - Vraes, Kjartan, Kyera, Selen
Just made good escape from Red Hill and after first Ratkin fight party is level 4. Will be camping after pretty much every fight as I burn SP so fast with Kyera and Selen.
Vraes is going1h sword and shield with CB, SS and either PS or BoS, haven't decided which yet...despite the tank build points going into strength to help make sure he connects with CB.
Kjartan is all about CA and BB right now, once he gets access I'll throw Immolation in the mix.
Kyera is EA and Tears for moment but once she has EA4 I'll start working on Retribution...plan on getting her a nice staff and keeping her out of the front lines as much as possible.
Selen is working up PS but will be adding some PB soon and of course DoS when she gets access so she can more readily adjust range and get improved crits.
I've played this basic team before and these early levels are most dangerous to Ironman survival as one bad spawn and set of dice rolls can wipe you out despite anything you can do...Kyera went from full health to 6 points in the initial Hund attack before I could even act. They Spawned and 3 of them got bites on her and all I could do was sit there and watch while chewing my nails.

Still slowly making my way to Oskahold...clearing the Ratkin is keeping me on my toes as I keep getting lots of Shaman and the knife throwing Ratkin along with the Bow rats. Definitely resting after every fight as the large battles and tough enemies are forcing me to dip into my potions more than I'd like. Had a minor scare when 3 Shaman, 3 of the knife throwers, 2 bow rats and 2 of the blade rats all unloaded on Vraes in one turn. Luckily Kyera had hit most of them with EA or he'd have been toast and I'd be restarting. Will definitely be putting a few more points into Phalanx Shield for Vraes as I've already seen it help reduce some of those range attacks that were his biggest weakness before.
