Ironman leaderboards are a dangerous one ... dying hurts so bad, but then you're back in it again! Best score stays posted, take a break, play another TB game and come back when you're ready! The ladders will wait.

... I might just try to copy my Iron Curtain build onto this ladder. If they handle almost anything half as well as they do on normal, they will crush. In the big maze leading into the Keep, not even Warboys can dent Vraes, with 70 armor and 12 parry at this point... He is such a monster.... My shame is also great, and I shall begin anew on the morrow.

En1gma - there is a lot to say for survivability over speed of killing in an Ironman group. That's why my Kincaid sprinted to Sure Parry 2, and so far its managed to keep him alive through some rough turns!

For sheer survivability, armor or hit points seem to trump dodge. Armor/HP always helps you, a series of bad roles can overcome all but the most dedicated dodge build leaving your hero dead. I'm making a run at this board with a variant of the Travelers build I describe in the Group build feedback thread: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/7464/group-build-feedback-advice-thread?page=2&scrollTo=87953 (Previously known as the Shadowfax build). For example, I'm considering putting 0 points in Stealth or Far Sight for Tamilin--focusing solely on damage dealing. I'm going to try to choose the right level of aggression for a given encounter. When going up against smaller groups being aggressive--running vraes up to the next foe--ends the fight early and minimizes damage received. Against larger groups with lots of archer, being aggressive gets you killed. Most of my deaths previous groups have been due to being overly aggressive against bigger groups.

It updates when you camp so I would assume that that you need to have it on at that moment at least.

I think they've said that, when you die, a final score is recorded and posted to the boards. So if you're only turning it on when you camp and record you risk losing some points in the case of a sudden death. I'm sure they could give you a more precise answer. It's possible though that a final score (or any score) is recorded on the device and posted the next time you're online. In fact, now that I say that I think I have seen times where GPlay Games updated awards and such while I was not connected.

ncaoa - I think it depends on your device, version of Google Play (if you're using GPlay). Your score should get cached into GPlay and posted at a later date, at least that is my understanding.

Thanks contributor and fallen . I'm using Amazon Game Circle and just tested of line to see if it would work. I got a "New High Score" Message and appeared on the board when I turned WiFi on. Now there's just the matter of a 12,000 point score being posted for the world to see. IT WAS A TEST! I SWEAR!

Might be fun for people to post their scores at various points along the way. These could be used as benchmarks to see how one was doing along the way.
The Travelers had 1,371,710 points at the Forgotten Waystation.

I'm on Nightmare, but the scores are very similar I imagine. 12 million and about to go into the vermin lair underneath the North Vault Fort for the first time. I know contributor's group hit 52 million at the Forgotten Temple under the Torrent Watershed.

Just got to the Forgotten Way Station with 1,337,135. Selen had a crowning moment of awesome when she killed the Orcin boss with just two dual bladed strikes, one of with was a Frenzied Blows crithit ^_^ And I made sure I'm on the right difficulty this time! Edit:Never forget to use AP draining spells. Vraes just got cut to pieces by three full AP Ratkin. Sigh, back to the drawing board.
