Well we're getting greedy and feel like the storyline / additional playable characters are starting to gel.
Therefore, we're starting to look forward to an Elite release, tons of new content and some awesome new secret stuff.
Here is a big question -- how much should Elite be? Is $1.99 the sweet spot? Do you think $0.99 is the price point for games?
Let me know =)

gotta go 1.99, 2.99 at most. anything above that will be a hard sell and if you go below, you can't do the special introductory offer at .99

elderdrake -- Like Star Traders RPG, I expect to see Cyber Knights receiving regular content updates for the next 10-16 months. The game is no where near close to "finished" in my mind. This is a demo of what the engine can do. Once I replace / upgrade all the interfaces and we increase the content by 500% then I might feel better about saying "close to being done."

That's a tough one !! I'd pay $2.99 for it & I think it's well worth it. But I think that $1.99 is the sweet spot.

I think it should be priced the same as ST RPG. That's just my opinion. Maybe those of us that are alpha/beta testing should get a little somethin' somethin'.

I'd buy it for 4.99$ but the question is what others would be willing to pay. I'd say about the same as Star traders elite.

I think our current plan is to start pricing at $1.99.
Then when we get like 3,000 reviews and have 10 playable / recruit-able characters we will raise the price to $2.99
That way each sale gets me $1, Andrew $1 and Google $1.

Sounds like a plan. I know it's early days but...any ideas on what Elite will bring and standard wont?

What?! I can hope!!!
Cory are each of the archetypes/characters going to have their own storyline or is that just the male/female characters?

Each character/archtype will exist in two modes, Story and Sandbox.
Now I realize that saying "we're planning on writing 10 unique compelling stories in New Boston" is a huge (almost insane) thing for a two person team to say. So we're not trying to do that right now. Just 2 of them (one male, one female.)
But each character/archtype will have their own storyline.
Elite will add: + Additional Characters + 4 Person Team (vs. 2 Person Team in Free) + Fully Customized Difficulty Settings + Character Specialization System + Blank Character (Full Build) Customization + Tailored Cyberware (Lower DVs)
Elite Future: + Additional Playable (Story & Sandbox) Characters + Additional Cities (Chicago, San Francisco Radiation Zone) + More Guns/Armor/Cyber/Items/Boom Boom + More Recruit-able Characters

Blank Characters just means starting at 1 for all your stats and spending Karma before play to make a totally customized PC.
Difficulty levels in CK (unlike ST) are stored in multiple scales. There is a difficulty level for: Economy, Game Hazards, Combat and Death. In the Elite game will have all my pre-canned difficulty levels but also have a "custom" mode where the elite player can choose, one at a time, a combination of difficulties.
So, say you wanted to battle the hardest version of the game, but with low prices and no death XP penalty, and no perma death. Elite would let you do that.

Ah! You're a clever man Cory. Apparently a clever man without spellcheck, but a clever man nonetheless. I salute you. This is me, saluting you. Can you feel that? It's props. Mad props.
(Honestly, mad props? Who thought THAT up?)
