Ouch on kinkaid storm of steel.Assuming it was a nerf,i am choosing not to update the game for now lol. your loss I guess, the new balancing and weapon updates make the update worth it. Storm of Steel's SP cost is now aligned to the other talents in the game, not a nerf so much as fixing as mistake. Your call, however, updates are not mandatory.

Oops i hope I didnt sound ungratfull,I love the frequent updates, you guys are simply amazing and nothing short of the best. But..My kinkaid only has about 1/3rd of the mana pool of kjartan and has several points invested into the storm of steel skill. So then the concern is that the sp cost of the skill might now be too high to use. If i remember correctly in the introduction part, the game warn us not to raise skills so much as to render them unusable, well the update might be doing just that. There is no way to take the skill points back now since the game doesnt support the feature. Anyways,i will update for sure...just not right away. And humm..weapons update as in new weapons? That wasnt mentioned in the original notes. Ouch on kinkaid storm of steel.Assuming it was a nerf,i am choosing not to update the game for now lol. your loss I guess, the new balancing and weapon updates make the update worth it. saltin - if it wasn't mentioned in the release notes, then it wasn't in the release. Cory is talking about previous updates. You can always check the full costs of Storm of Steel in an Inn or Way Station. In general, the SP cost has doubled.

And it still feels like a deal to me. Just had a turn where Kincaid used only Storm of Steel and did over 800 points of damage.
Kincaid plays like Selen, if you're doing it right. Switching back and forth between attacks and maximizing position.
Vraes is the tank ... walk up, hammer, hammer, hammer. Kincaid requires more finesse and isn't a "get one skill up and use it for everything" character.

And it still feels like a deal to me. Just had a turn where Kincaid used only Storm of Steel and did over 800 points of damage. That's quite easy to achieve with enough crit buffs. I run SoS on level 1 and regularly deal beyond 500 damage in a turn. In general multi target damage that is higher than single target damage is extremely more valuable since you can reduce the encounter threat fast. If Kincaids single target options where stronger it would look different. I'm thinking about some Kincaid + Tamilin + Fyona + Vincent group for mass multi target onslaught. Fyona + Vincent for resistance debuffs, Kincaid, Tamilin and Vincent for mass destruction.

Sorry to be so dense, but I'm not finding the secret doors. Are they in the town of Oskahold?
What am I looking for?
Thanks,
