Just had the idea for a particularly wicked type of mission. It would fit well in the world and could be worked out lots of ways. I'm thinking of them as ones that would require a composite of skills like Intimidate, Negotiate and possibly Intelligence and/or Electronics (think of all the nasty little devices you could use!). Interrogation kits (physical or chemical varieties?) could be purchased that would help extract the needed information. It would be really cool to chain them together with missions like capture missions, but I don't know if that is possible.
There could also be a wide range a possible ways to complete it and outcomes. You could use a verbal interrogation (prioritize Negotiate and Intelligence) threaten it out of them (prioritize Intimidate) or resort to coercive physical techniques (i.e. torture)(prioritize Electronics and Strength) or even using drugs (Electronics and Intelligence). There could be unique outcomes to each possibility "Your extreme methods resulted in your subject losing consciousness/dying before you could get the needed information." "While waiting for the drugs to take effect local enforcers discover your location and interrupt the interrogation." etc. More extreme methods would also make rep loss more likely and extreme. You might also be able to adapt harsher methods if you initially fail with Talk or Threaten.
My initial thought was that these would be a sort of advanced Threaten mission (though it's expanded significantly) and would not be given out to knights with low rep/xp. They would be risky and require deep skills, but pay well. With Hunders in the wild now it would be cool to have more uses for the intimidate skill.

Great idea and a really versatile job type. I took #CK-2592 to add this to the game!

Since interrogation usually follows capture, wouldn't it make sense for the job to take place in the territory of the Faction that issued it? Perhaps the "interrupted by enforcers" could be A) a rescue mission or B) a regular raid that discovered your location. Maybe one of the enemies could be a Cyberknight when it is a rescue mission.

I had an idea, what if your reputation with the faction played into your success rate? If you are widely known and feared by the faction that the target is from you should be able to intimidate/torture them easier. If you are liked you should be able to convince them to give the information easier. Just a thought.

I think it would be nifty to have reputation as a factor in negotiation and intimidation jobs as well. Hmm, looking to see if that's already been suggested.

Just finished adding this job type. There is a lot of room to extend it with the ideas posted here, but the basics are in (Capture, take target to Safehouse, Interrogate Encounter). This includes special options for those with Hunds on the team
