Ok. I'm pointing out the obvious, for a reason. This update is 2.25. The previous update was 2.33. Ok. Mistakes happen. BUT Desura is STILL only offering 2.21. I know you put out more updates than even Microsoft, with all it's financial assets, can produce, but it's been AGES, since Desura, updated, and it's getting desperate here guys. Seriously. Is there any way I can PUSH Desura, into getting TB updates out quicker. Someone I should email, etc. It doesn't seem good, that TB puts out so many update, but it looks like they don't, because the distribution network is so slow.

Welcome to Amazo- err, Desura. Hehe. Heh. :/
I don't know anything about Desura, but I somewhat doubt it. I have yet to figure out who I complain to on Amazon- there's just no contact whatsoever.

Cg - looks like typo on the forum. No, there is no way to move Desura along, unless you want to take lessons from the dance-team. It is not a distribution network, it is a review cycle. Very different animals.

Interesting. I know it used to take about 36-48 hours (longer on weekends) before Amazon would post updates, but after a phone call back in January, I get the updates within a few hours of the them being posted on my 1st gen Fire. I just called up Amazon Customer Service and chatted up the lady on the other end...who happened to be an old EQ player, so we got to laugh about early days of adventuring in EQ. Main question was why didn't it update when I could download the newly updated version on any other Amazon device I had.

algesan - did she help push a new market or firmware to your device? It is extremely unlikely she did something personal that gives you the updates faster, as Amazon serves millions. There are multiple timelines at play - the review of the app to be approved, the time it takes your device to clear its cache and realize their is an update, and the time it takes the update to actually push to the servers in their distribution network.

Some overall v2.2.25 feedback
First, I took a long break from the game so there's a lot up updates that got bundled up so I'm not sure which detail fits into which update but here's my thoughts:
1) Balance: From what appears to be smarter enemy AI to more balanced talents and weapons, the game plays at a more enjoyable challenge.
2) World Map, Quest Log: Easy to read, easy to understand, easy to use. Everything one wants in a world map and quest log.
3) Dialogue improvements: There's a few changes in dialogue that assist the greatly assist the story-line.
4) Integrating mosnters: Ratkin Skirmishers, wolves, and even a troll. Nice way have some enemy intagreation between E1A1 and later stages of the game.
5) Attack/talent summary: Being able to click one button to get an attack and weapon summary with the dice breakdown is pretty awesome (I noticed no strong vs weak dice lables, but that's a minor point). Really helps sorting through battlefield options.
6) Graphic icon for curses: yeah! So much easier to see who's got Vermin Rot and who just has VD.
7) Enemy summary: So much better to see curses, type of attack etc.
PS: Did the Cleric's healing spell go from 2ap to 3ap? I thought it was 2ap but now it's 3ap. Could just be forgetful.

More positive energy!
After more than 250 hours of joy I'm through E2A2 and waiting for more. The money/time ratio is hard to beat. Knights of Pen and Paper probably plays in the same league, but that's it. More travel shortcuts would lower this ratio, but definitely make the game better.

Nothing personal to my device that I'm aware of, perhaps a tweak to a setting on their software for updating HoS? I just know it that when you post an update, I get it in a few hours now instead of having to fight with the manual "Check for Updates" option on my Kindle.

Wow I just finally got this update on my Mac through the Mac App Store. It's the first time I'll have the chance to play with Kincaid on my computer.
