I'm posting anything I come across on the net, that may be of interest to forum members, or helpful, to Cory Trese and fallen. Mainly looking for information, regarding promoting Indie Games, and funding, but anything anyone finds, that may be of help, can be posted here, with my blessing.

Wow that was an insightful article, and spot on!
I've personally been looking out for devs who actually care about their game and the experience it brings for the people who play it.
Aside from TB, another great group is gazillion, started by David brevik, who developed diablo2 and quit blizzard to create marvel heroes. That company is the trese brothers with a serious budget.
Also the eastern eu group who makes men of war series, crap I forgot the name, a great game with a lot of love to the vision rather than just marketing
Also, shared the link on gumi eu forum for brave frontier. Those french have to start communicating..!

mypaint.deviantart.com/journal/MyPaint-vs-SAI-218771853Just a quick comparison of the SAI and Mypaint packages. Mypaint is FREE, so there is no excuse for not getting your crayon out now, and drawing on some virtual walls. (Ah! Childhood once more). The only real drawback with Mypaint, is it has no selection tools whatsoever. Still, FREE is cheaper than paying for something like Photoshop, when all you want to do, is dip your brush on an occasional basis. Yes. GIMP is more like Photoshop, as an image editing program, but I find it a tad slow to respond and not a little unstable.

Very nice art. It has given me ideas for characters on my Shadowrun games

Very nice art. It has given me ideas for characters on my Shadowrun games Yes. The artworks looks a bit more "Comic Book", than Fallen's. I think it's probably the choice of colours that strikes a chord between the two styles. Especially the text. I prefer the use of smooth shading in Fallen's work though, but there again, I'm biased.
