I managed to find time this week to put together the minutes to watch two entire movies!
I watched Judge Dredd and World War Z.
Anyone else seen these? I feel Judge Dredd was very cyberpunk, if a bit predictable.
World War Z seemed like it was in a rush to get to the end and really didn't leave runway for a satisfying ending.

"I am the law!" Hehe I wanted to like World War Z. Seemed like it had a big budget, big star, big scope. I was disappointed overall. Couldn't recommend it. Watch that Oculus when you get a chance. I recommend that to anyone.

I recommend that to anyone. That is a good way to put it -- I really wanted to like it. Great source material, good cast and crew. I just couldn't get past the pacing. I think it was a bit too short, which required a lot of plot shortcuts. Also, Gerry survives a plane crash in a way that rattled my suspension of disbelief pretty badly.

The 90s Stallone film or the new one with Karl Urban? I like both for different reasons. I refuse to watch Z. Think you'll ever do a zombie game? Maybe something with a personal inventory system like www.innawoods.net?

That is neat screenshot. I'm not sure I'd make a game that requires you to carry TP, but hey, maybe that is fun. An IAP for TP? =)
I watched the new Dredd, I saw the old one many times back in the day.

Best line from 28 days "Go fucking where?!"
A side note, that was a quote, I try not to cuss, cause I don't wanna offend. Is there a forum guideline on this? I use all manner of words in real life.

qbspy, we generally try to keep the cussing to a minimum here, just because it's a public forum, and there are some people who definitely wouldn't appreciate seeing strong language. There are exceptions though - when you're ultra excited When you're quoting or describing something ... ... but never never at another forum member

Maybe have the gameplay somewhat like CK if they did try.

I watched the Godzilla yesterday using some Amazon Coins.
I wish it had been darker and shown more personal stories of the horror of monsters destroying stuff.

I saw it yesterday as well, a little disappointing. That and everything that broke the laws of physics was very clear to me.

I watched Transcendence yesterday. I avoided it at first because of all the negative reviews. I mostly liked it. I'd give it a 3.5. It touched on concepts I find very interesting and I like to read about etc...but the movie was flawed. There were a couple gaping holes and the face heel turn of the main character at the end I liked, but really could have been set up better.

Most of the movies like Transcendence have plot/tech holes that you could drive a cat through. It all depends on your frame of mind tho whether you think of the movie fondly or not. I really enjoyed Armageddon, even though apparently it is routinely used by NASA in their induction process where they ask the trainees "Can you count all the errors in Armageddon"
