Cargo loading speed

Hi,

I've been playing Age of Pirates for a few weeks. I really like this game, however there are some details I don't understand

Today I've spotted an Interior Upgrade named "Expanded Ship's Magazine", available in Bethesda [1,1]. Description says: "Improves loading speed and reduces critical hits in combat". A few days ago I saw an upgrade (I don't remember its name) adding some cargo space, but reducing "loading speed".

What the "loading speed" is? Does it really affect gameplay? I didn't notice any changes in "loading speed" while trading, gathering or taking goods from ships with that upgrade (I mean the one reducing loading speed).

EDIT: The second upgrade is Cargo Lockers Interior Upgrade: "Slows loading and unloading but provides ample additional storage".

I'm not sure exactly how this affects gameplay, mostly because (if that text means anything) whatever impact it has on the game is negligible... I use these upgrades frequently and have never noticed anything one way or another. It MAY run up the clock for commissions or how long the game counts you as being at port, but I'm not certain.

This could be a good point, I'm going to check if buying/selling goods will take more or less time depending on that upgrades installed. Anyway, I think the change (if any) should be small and won't make noticeable difference.

I've no idea at this time how to verify change in commision deadline...

By that I just meant that more time would pass, thus taking away from the time you have to complete your commission... The easiest way to tell would be to check the time of day next to the date, but even then, it only counts in hours (2 or 4 at a time I think), so the difference could be seen there if there is one...

Loading and unloading cargo takes time, so this upgrade speeds you ability to get in and out of port and have a successful run to the merchants.
