hi, i;ve unlocked the reward that should allow me to choose the starting ship(U), so i create a new captain but i still can't choose them. what should i do?

Can you share your device type and your Android OS version?
Also, try going to Settings > Apps > Google Play and clear the cache. Try closing and re-opening Age of Pirates.
Sometimes, the lines get cut and a little jiggling can help. If that doesn't work, we can help you dig deeper!

I'm using Samsung GT-N7000 OS 4.0.4
tried to clear the cache still didn't work. oh and there are also other problems :
i've unlocked the sea terror achievment but can't get the reward (the upgrade thingy).
i've been unable to unlock Pride of Horror achievment even though i've sink it few times. there's been no problem in unlocking the other ice demon and kraken achievments.

@oeoenk - let's start with the starting ship, can you tell me which reward you specifically unlocked and what difficulty you unlocked it on?

infamous warrior hard-should unlock military sloop starting ship? master explorer hard-should unlock pirate marauder starting ship? i still enjoy playing the game but it will be nice if i can use the whole features provided  |

I'm not having any problems at all with either of these Unlocks, assuming I am claiming them on the correct difficulty and that they're showing up in my Unlocks list. If you have successfully claimed the Award on the correct difficulty, you will see "** Unlocked! **" on the 'Unlocks' screen. If you have claimed the Award's Unlock via the In-App Purchase, you'll see "[Unlock All]" on the page. I tested this with two factory-reset Androids (S3 and Droid X) this morning and it all worked exactly as I would expect. Unfortunately, it sounds like you're just not done getting the Unlocks -- if you have a screenshot of the 'Game Unlocks' page showing the Unlock, please post it! |

What difficulty are you on? Most rewards are difficulty dependant.
