Can't take all Ship Rations despite free cargo space

During expedition I gathered 7 units of Ship Rations:


I chose the "Load Ship" option and there were indeed 7 Ship Rations available:


However it was impossible to take them all - I moved slider to the end, but 1 Ship Ration remained in the "cache" (pressing "+1" button did nothing) - as you can see, there is no free space at the right of slider, no more Ship Rations can be taken:


I took these 6 units of Ship Rations eventually, but I still had some free cargo space:


So I pressed the "Ship Rations" button again, and this time I was able to take the remaining Ship Ration - now there were a free space at the right of slider, corresponding to that last Ship Ration:


I moved the slider...


...and took the Ship Ration:


I was surprised because taking goods was working fine to this time. However during the next expedition I encountered the same issue, but that time there were more Ship Rations to take so I had to take them in more steps...

Perhaps this happens only if you have a lot of Ship Rations in your ship, but I'm not sure.

I guess this could be caused by rounding issue... Floating points can be tricky

grzechol - Can you provide the screenshots for the time it didn't work? It seems like you have great documentation of the success case, but not the fail case?

Well, it was success eventually. Now I think the subject is wrong:

"Can't take all Ship Rations despite free cargo space"

In fact, I can take all the Rations, but not in one step.

Please take a look again at this screenshot:


I gathered 7 units of Ship Rations.

As you can see, I could take only 6 units at the first try - there was 1 unit of Ship Rations remaining in the cache and I wasn't able to take it.

So I took that 6 units, I clisked "Complete transaction". My cargo load was 67/72 after transaction, so definitely there were space for 7 units. I tried to take Ship Rations again, and that time I was able to take the remaining 1 Ship Ration.

The same issue today.

I gathered 9 units of Luxury Provisions, I had 7 units already on my ship, and cargo hold was 66/72:


I tried to take all the gathered Luxury Provisions. As you can see at this screenshot, there are 7 units on the ship and 9 in cache (which is correct):


But when I moved slider to the very right, I could take only 6 units and I had to leave 3 remaing units in cache:


I completed the transaction taking 6 units (and leaving 3), but I noticed that my cargo hold after transaction is 69/72 so there should be space for all the Luxury Provisions:


I tried to take the Luxury provisions again and that time it was possible:
