I think HoS is really awsome. Definitely worth the elite purchase. But I was just sad that at first when I just had free it was so limited. An awsome thing about all trese brothers games is the playability of the free versions, but in this one you can just go to the first campsite and then boom. 1 hrs play at most. I love the fact that your games like ck, st, st4x, templar assault, allow hours of replay value, yet for elite you get even more. I recognize st has a bigger elite map(which is awsome) but the free is still playable. I am just disappointed that HoS was so limited in free. Dont really know what im trying to say here, I think im asking if st2 will have enough free content to play again and again, or will be more like this, I would of course get elite anyway just seems sad that HoS seems to me a pay to play.

@thebee - thanks for the feedback! You hit it on the head, observing that Heroes of Steel isn't like any of our other games. It's a story-based game and not a sandbox, so there isn't the same "unlimited play" for free. We tried a different model with Heroes.

ST2, if we fund, will be in the sandbox style of ST1!

Ok awsome, like I said still elite all the way, just had noticed that and wanted to asked ask. I defintly understand the permanent iap and characters only available through elite edition but an entire game. It makes sense now, building a story instead of a sandbox is different. Glad to hear st2 will have lots of free replay value and love all the games.

@thebee - thanks for your support! I think, even if we did another story game, we'd look to have a different model with more free-to-play time and a place where you could experiment and play longer if you wanted (mini-sandbox). But, Heroes baked its model in a year ago
