So I start a new pirate, and track down Nathaniel Sveet in Fort Locht.
I go through the plot to get to the point where I get to sign him up...
I get presented with the 'accept' or 'decline' option to sign him...
Click 'accept' ... And the app says "Age of Pirates Elite has Stopped".
When I get back into the program, the dialogue to sign Sveet is no longer there, nor accessible. (Samsung GS3)
Does this mean I'm permanently barred from signing him ever again..? What a bummer!
Can this be restored? I can't think of why someone would bother to click on the "Invite Nathaniel Sveet to join your crew" button, only to hit "decline" right afterward... It's not like the dialogue is specific about any benefits or drawbacks he gives to your party as an officer. |

I've reported this crash here. In my case, Nathaniel Sveet was already signed up after crash, so check your officers (Status -> Ship -> Officers). If he's signed up - this is the reason why dialogue isn't accessible. |

salamano - this is on our list to find and fix. It is not a bug that happens consistently. Were you able to report the issue? Also, check to see if he joined your crew.

It is not a bug that happens consistently. Actually I have this crash every time I recruit Nathaniel Sveet. Last time today when I started new game on Hard. I'm not sure, but I think this wasn't happening in 1.1.37... |

fallen - the problem is there's no "report" button (as I explained here) in this case. After I confirmed recruiting Sveet, strange thing happened with graphics - it looked like part of screen were expanded to the whole screen. Unfortunately it happened so fast I couldn't take a screenshot. Perhaps it has something to do with screen orientation - sometimes when screen changes (e.g. from captain healing to the castle) orientation becomes portrait for a while, and immediately changes to landscape.

The good news is that at least it looks like he joins your crew (he did mine as well). So, despite the crash, no real harm occurs.
