Now my transports gave the option to invade, but when they do the game crashes and closes itself.
I'm on Google play on a Samsung 4s btw.
I played a few turns after update 1.5.7 waiting for my transports to get in position. Everything was fine. When my four transports were ready, I did four Scout invasions and various other colony management things and I ended my turn and the game processed for a couple seconds like it usually does, and then closed the program. I tried again, same thing. Suspecting it might be another invasion bug, I did the same turn for the third time, doing everything the same EXCEPT I did not do an invasion and it advanced to the next turn properly. The next turn, I did nothing except one invasion from one transport, and it crashed. I tried again with scout, invade and bombard and it crashed. Finally I ended that turn without invading and again it advanced normally.

Sorry ... I cannot reproduce and I tried really hard to figure out what this bug might be for the last 40 minutes. No luck yet ...

I actually think I cannot reproduce it because this might be related to the device issue with map loading I fixed in v1.5.11

I designed a new transport and the same thing happened. This is The Same game where I discovered the invasion bug so maybe it's a leftover oddity due to the update in midstream
In my two prior savegames, there are no xeno left so I can't do any other tests. I guess I will advance a new game until I get Transports and see what happens

I have a fond reminder of The rapid bug fixing process that went on today. My game has a fleet of similar, slightly different versions of transports that I kept redesigning to test different updates and different options to see what might work. I have transports with scanners, transports with light brigades and assault marine brigades, red transports and brown transports and the cool looking Elite transports.
My favorite is one unique ship entitled the "TTRANSPLAT" that I made while very drunk when update 1.5.11 came out. I knew it was spelled wrong, but the onscreen keyboard is so small when I'm drunk and I just had to see if it would work... and it did.
So raise a glass to the TTRANSPLAT and victory!

Cool name for the ship! I think that Cory and Andrew should incorporate it into an update
