IT WORKS!! I dropped to -15k by the time it was done since a Solar War popped while I was waiting on the update (damn you RNG), but I immediately shuffled in the Trade Ban neutralizer (thank God I have 19 spies anyway) and actually took down that Trade Embargo that's crippled my economy for the past 50 turns!! I might actually be able to save this empire, since I have a solid force on standby while I work on the economy!

Well, a bit over 33k in debt, Xeno at my door and a parade of bad events lead me to believe that this particular empire is borked. I simply kept pushing through debt and bad morale (avg of 4. 4!!!) for the past 100-odd turns and I'm thinking that I'm doomed (damn my persistence when I know a fix is eventually coming!). I do have another Hard empire to work on, so I'm shifting to that.

That's because the Trese Brothers make awesome game even in free version. I played ST RPG free for nearly two months before getting to Elite. But another great thing about TB is : when you go to Elite...wow !! you got a lot more than what you paid for. I mean, I would pay double or triple and still feel I spent my money on great things... Thanks fallen and Cory Trese !
